Training and Workshops

Three in-person courses will be held at the EtaPRO LLC office in Amherst, NY USA during New York (EST) business hours. Two virtual training and workshop sessions will be held during EST business hours. Virtual Training is conducted via MS Teams and AWS cloud-based servers. Access to both platforms is necessary for participation. Please confirm with your company IT department before registering for a virtual class. Refer to the attached Registration Flyer for dates and registration information.

Description

EtaPRO® VirtualPlant™ software provides actual and expected real-time and aggregate key performance indicators, such as efficiencies and capacities, for plants and equipment overall. VirtualPlant simulates an entire power generation cycle. The objective of the course is to familiarize students with VirtualPlant and to help develop and tune VirtualPlant models.

Course Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide an overview of the VirtualPlant Cycle Builder software. Students will learn how to:

• Manage and maintain existing models
• Develop new models using the VirtualPlant Cycle Builder application
• Use models to create a parametric study

Each participant will receive copies of the EtaPRO VirtualPlant Training Workbook (PDF) with classroom exercises.

Who Should Attend

The course is intended for individuals who are interested in creating a digital twin or simulation of their plant to study and forecast plant thermal performance.

Class Size

Class size is limited to 10 seats. Available seats are updated on this page. We may ask you to select a second option if the desired class date is already full.

Note: Occasionally, a particular course will not meet the minimum registration requirement. EtaPRO LLC reserves the right to cancel such a session at least 10 working days prior to the scheduled start. Participants will be promptly notified.

Cancellation Policy

Applicants my cancel up to 15 working days before the session for a full refund. Cancellations within 11-14 working days prior to the start of the workshop are subject to a 20% service charge. Those who have not canceled reservations within 10 working days prior to the session and "No Shows" are subject to the full session fee. Substitutions may be made at any time.

Fee

• 3 Day EtaPRO APR & VirtualPlant Workshop $2,000

All of our courses offer a 10% multi-registrant discount to organizations registering three or more persons for the same class at the same time. Fee includes software guides and other course materials.
